WELCOME

Hang Up Drive is one man's mission to end Distracted Driving.  Since the loss of his teenage Son, Jerry Cibley 

has been active on a Local, State and National 

level to help make the roads safer.


On November 25, 2019 , Governor Baker signed into law,  Massachusetts' first HANDS-FREE Driving Law.

The Mission - to Educate Drivers about distracted Driving

Jerry Cibley - Jordan's Dad

Jordan lost his life in a Distracted Driving Crash on Mother's Day 2007.  He was driving 25 MPH

but was talking on the phone.  


Jordan dropped his cell phone and removed his seat belt to pick it from the floor.  Jordan's car crashed into a tree and he was killed instantly.

Jerry has been advocating for a hands free law since the night before Jordan's funeral.

Oprah Winfrey championed  safe driving back in 2010.  Jerry was a guest on her show and  Jordan's story has been viewed nearly 50 million times.

Day one of the Hands -Free Law, February 23, 2020.  Sergeant David Foscaldo of the Foxboro, Police Department and Jerry about to do a ride along and pull over some offenders.  Four offenders issued warnings in an hour.
